Since 2018, in chat we will create a channel called Xyear-notes-to-selves where in the previous year we drop random notes and ideas for next year. We can't use all the notes, but they're great to have when planning for a current year. Older notes help us remember what we were thinking and what problems we were trying to solve, even if we no longer have that problem, so they have been organized into useful lists and archived here for reference.
