Tech is responsible for setting up the Main stage equipment, the panels rooms equipment, and the Live Music equipment.
Department Structure
- Head of Tech: Origami
- Second Head of Tech (General): Haku
- Second Head of Tech (Co Head Live Sound): Gordon
- Second Head of Tech (Co Head Live Sound): Amber
Tech is a constantly moving and growing department always looking for new people to join its ranks.
Requirements to join Tech
- Some knowledge on stage sound equipment
- Ability to work long hours
- Ability to move around constantly
- Working knowledge of Powerpoint
- Ability to work well with others. We get asked a lot of questions due to the location of tech.
Bonus Experience
- Ability to use a Soldering Iron
- Working Knowledge of Video Equipment
- Computer Troubleshooting Skills
- Skin Like Fantastic Four's The Thing
Equipment
Tech provides most of it's own equipment either because SCIENCE owns it or because a staffer does.
