What is Day Zero
Day Zero is the day before the con officially starts and is thus usually on Thursday. Day Zero is a day of setup for the staff and a few fun bonus events for the attendees. Registration opens in the evening and there are events to keep attendees busy.
2013
In 2013 SNAFU Con attempted our first Day Zero programming. There was a dance and a video room. There were approximately 7-10 people who attended the festivities. No one visited the video room.
2014
In 2014 Day Zero consisted of our first Swap Meet, and open mic karaoke. About 300 badges were picked up from registration.
