The Art department is in charge of Artist's Alley. It is headed by Nuriko Windchaser.
Responsibilities
- Work with Logistics regarding the Artist Alley table layout.
- Work with the Contracts to figure out the annual contract for Artist Alley.
- Answer Artist Alley related emails and questions.
- Ensure that all Artist Alley contracts are received and signed.
- Communicate with Artist Alley merchants and potential Artist Alley merchants.
- Work with Social Media to make timely Artist Alley announcements.
- Know and understand the basic rules for vendors in the city that the con is in (Reno or Sparks) and how to handle sales sax therein.
- As best as possible, ensure that all Artist Alley merchants are submitting accurate sales tax records and that we receive the correct sales tax.
