The Cosplay department celebrates costume play and creative expression by providing resources and events for attendees to showcase their talent. We organize the annual Masquerade competition to give cosplayers a chance to perform and get recognition for their amazing work. Our Cosplay Repair Station enables last-minute fixes and adjustments so cosplayers can feel their best. Through gatherings, workshops, and panels, we foster friendship and knowledge-sharing around different fandoms and cosplay topics. We aim to make every cosplayer feel welcomed, supported, and excited to be part of the convention. Our goal is to promote cosplay as an artform, bring talented creators together, and make sure cosplayers have the best experience possible at our convention. What we run
- Cosplay Masquerade
- Cosplay Repair Station
- Cosplay Cooldown Room (this is Cosplay "home base" and the repair station is in the same room)
- Cosplay Meetups
- Cosplay Chess
- Cosplay Panels and Workshops
- Annual Cosplay Theme Ribbons
- Peace Bonding of props used to be handled by the Rovers, but was taken over by Cosplay in 2019 or 2021(?). The responsibility is shared with Rovers and sometimes Registration as needed, but the main location is now Cosplay Repair.
What we don't run
- Maid or Butler Cafés are generally fan run, if we can have one.
- Cosplay photography is handled by the Photography department but there's no reason not to work closely together. Cosplay-dedicated photographers can be added to the photography department.

- Manage participant communication and information
- Source prizes and materials for events
- Stock and monitor the repair station
- Schedule cosplay activities and panels
- Promote cosplay happenings to build excitement
- Train and manage cosplay volunteers
- Provide resources for cosplayers to shine

- Venue Department - catering, space setup
- Tech crew - for masquerade audio/lighting
